Pastor E. F. Canty was born in Kansas City, MO on September 4, 1981. He received his diploma from Raytown South High School and his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO. Currently, he is pursuing his Masters in Divinity at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Canty believes education is an important tool used to strengthen the human mind to think outside the box to reach the peaks of greatness.

A Short History
On April 3, 2011, Grace & Mercy Christian Church (GMCC) opened its door at the Lenexa Community Center Senior Building at 13425 Walnut, Lenexa, KS 66215. Founder and Pastor Elree F. Canty had 60 chairs set out. Unbeknownst to him there would be over 80 visitors in attendance and four families to join that first Sunday.
